BBC Radiophonic Workshop pionneer Delia Derbyshire famously described her electronic music as "wind clouds, sweeps and swoops, ... and wind-bubbles".
Australian duo Synth Pit proudly expands this definition by producing a music that is both shimmering and fizzy, glittering and effervescent. Unashamedly kosmische, it brings to mind weird images of glistening sea whales dancing with floating astronauts, or alien jellyfishes waltzing by your spacecaft porthole. Grant Warner and Dimitri Kapetas intertwine seventies electronics and nineties ambient in a complex drone trip that is futuristic and nostalgic at the same time.
The four tracks of this cassette were mastered by Taylor Deupree.
